The Osteo Clinic features a fully equipped pilates studio in both our Sandringham and Mordialloc clinics
Pilates is a form of exercise that aims to improve your flexibility, strengthen your postural muscles, improve your balance and stability and prevent injuries occurring. It teaches you to use the exact muscles for functional movements and aligns your body in optimal posture.
We offer a variety of session types including one on one sessions, small group classes, . We offer specific classes for pre and post natal women, and classes specifically for men. Each person is treated as an individual and given specific exercises that suit their fitness and take into account any injuries that may exist. The exercises utilise both specific mat-based exercises combined with the latest spring-loaded equipment. These exercises can be adapted for all levels of fitness, age and body types. Everyone can benefit from pilates: adolescents, pregnant women, athletes, elderly people, and people recovering from orthopaedic surgery.
